Mrs Katharine Jung

5th through 8th Grade Math

Math Curriculum (pdf)

Mrs. Katharine Jung Mrs. Jung has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from DePaul University with an endorsement in mathematics and middle school education. Mrs. Jung completed her student teaching here at HFCS in 2014 in an exemplary manner. Using a multitude of learning methods, Mrs. Jung is striving to help students build not only their math skills, but also their confidence and perseverance in meeting any math challenge head on and taking risks with their work in attempts to solve the problem at hand. Students learn that if we fail when attempting to solve a problem, it is not a negative moment; it is simply our first attempt in learning (F.A.I.L.) and an opportunity to grow in our knowledge.
