Ms. Katie DelMastro

1st Grade

Ms. Katie DelMastro Ms. Del Mastro holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with endorsements in Early Childhood, Special Education, and Reading from Loras College. She recently completed graduate school and earned a Master's Degree in Early Childhood with a focus on Teaching and Diversity.   DelMastro believes teaching is a very influential job, and that teachers don't just provide knowledge to their students for advancement in their educational journey, but also help them grow spiritually and socially, molding them into positive contributors to society. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, shopping, being outside and staying active through sports, kayaking, biking, hiking and other adventurous activities.

Ms. Shea Dufficy

2nd Grade

Ms. Shea Dufficy Ms. Dufficy graduated from the University of Dayton in 2017 with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. Her studies at the University of Dayton provided her with experiences in a variety of school settings, but she is most at home teaching in a Catholic school. Ms. Dufficy says, “The love that the students have for Jesus is beautiful and inspiring to me every day.” In her free time, she enjoys reading and spending time with friends and family.

Mrs. Janet DeBartolo

3rd Grade

Mrs. Janet DeBartolo Nurturing respect for others and the world, Ms. DeBartolo believes in empowering and motivating children to be successful in learning through a lively Catholic school environment. This foundation prepares them for their future spiritually, morally and academically. Ms. DeBartolo has taught for over 20 years. She joined St. Charles Borromeo in 2000 as the mathematics teacher at the junior high level. She presently teaches 3rd Grade. She holds a BS degree in Elementary Education from the University of Illinois at Chicago and is Illinois-certified in Elementary Education for Grades K-9. She has a Master of Arts in Teacher Leadership from Roosevelt University. Mrs. DeBartolo also holds her Type 75 Administrative Certification from Roosevelt University.

Mrs. Susan Wagner

4th Grade

Mrs. Susan Wagner Mrs. Wagner has been a member of the Holy Family School community for six years. She began as an instructional aid for first and second grade, and was asked to assume the position of 4th grade teacher the following year. Mrs. Wagner is a product of Catholic school education. She attended high school at Mt. Assisi Academy, and then graduated with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Family Studies from St. Xavier University. After administering neuropsychiatric and I.Q. testing at Palos Neuropsychiatric Institute for many years, she married and had two children. Both of her children attended Catholic elementary and high schools. During this time she stayed home and was actively involved in volunteering at the schools. As her children grew older, Mrs. Wagner felt strong calling to teach. She returned to school and received her M.A.E.D. in elementary education.

Mrs. Wagner lives with her husband and her dog Katie. Her older son attended I.I.T. in Chicago and her younger son currently attends Marquette University. Mrs. Wagner loves spending time with her family, traveling, reading, cooking, and swimming.
