Ms. Mandy Heldmann Ms. Heldmann has been teaching the youngest learners in the Diocese of Joliet for over 20 years. She enjoys teaching the early childhood students because they are so enthusiastic and possess an innate ability to soak up all the knowledge they can. She believes that preschool is a vital component of a child’s educational journey where the foundation of learning is laid in development of the whole child. It is her hope to instill into her students a lifelong love of learning and to enrich their faith by developing a devotion and respect for God. Ms. Heldmann has her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth as well as her Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction from National-Louis University. She is Illinois certified in grade K-9 with endorsements in Language Arts and Social Science.

Ms. Lauren Daraskevich

Ms. Lauren Daraskevich Ms. Daraskevich graduated from Benedictine University with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and an endorsement in Language Arts. She student taught in first grade, and began her career teaching reading intervention for a year and a half where she found a strong passion in reading instruction. She also had the privilege of teaching kindergarten before arriving at Holy Family. She enjoys teaching young students and believes it is a very fundamental time in their lives. She strives to mold them into independent thinkers. Miss D teaches to the whole child, encompassing not only academics, but also the social, emotional, and spiritual aspect of each student. In her spare time Miss D enjoys reading, spending time with family, and going on walks with her two dogs.
